  • The Harvest Festival of CSI Church Puthiyara will be held on the 23rd of October along with the re-dedication of the renovated church building and reception to Rt. Rev. Dr. Royce Manoj Victor. All are cordially invited to attend.
  • Area Prayer: Vengeri-Thadampattu thazham area prayer will be held at the residence of Mr. David Vincent Thomas on October 23rd at 5:00 pm. All are welcome.
  • The Confirmation Classes will be held every Tuesday's and Thursday's from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. All candidates are advised to attend the classes without fail.
  • The 'Daniel Joseph House Construction', one among the projects selected on the occasion of the 175th Anniversary of the CSI Cathedral Kozhikode has been completed. Rt. Rev. Dr. Royce Manoj Thirumeni dedicated this house named "Eden" on the 29th of September 2016 at 8:30 am. The 'Keys' to "Eden" will be handed over to Mr. Daniel Joseph on the 2nd of October 2016, during the Divine Malayalam Service. More than Rs. 8 lakhs have been utilized for this project with the generous support of all members. Kindly remember Mr. Daniel Joseph and family in your prayers.
  • This year's Harvest Festival and Annual Thanksgiving Service will be held on the 13th of November 2016 at 1:30 pm. The Chief guest will be our beloved Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Royce Manoj Victor. This year's collection through 'Raffle' will be utilized for the side wooden panelling of the Cathedral Altar and for the renovation of children's gallery. The first prize for the Raffle will be a Gold Coin (One Soverign), 2nd prize will be a 'Tablet' and the 3rd prize will be a 'geared Bicycle'. There will be 17 other prizes worth more than Rs. 500/-, to give away for the lucky winners. Those who wish to sponsor these prizes may kindly contact the Chairman, Rev. Dr. T.I. James. Your donations for the Harvest Festival may be handed over to the Vicars or Pastorate committee/Diocesan Council members who will remit the same at Cathedral office and hand over the receipt. Please pray for the blessing of the Harvest Festival and Annual Thanksgiving service.
  • The 'Foundation Stone laying Ceremony' of the proposed 'Jubilee Hall' will be done by Rt. Rev. Dr. Royce Manoj Thirumeni after the Divine Malayalam service on the 13th of October (Harvest Festival Sunday). All are cordially invited to attend this function in the project site behind the present Cathedral Hall.
  • An Audio CD produced by the Men's Fellowship titled "Yeshuve.. Nin Mugham", which was released  on October 9th is available for sale at the Diocesan Book shop. Kindly but the same and support the activities of the Men's Fellowship.
  • The Sunday School Annual examination will be conduced on the 20th of November 2016.
  • Sunday School Childrens Diocesan Camp will be held from December 27th to 29th at CSI Church, Meppadi, Wayanad. Children studying in Junior, Intermediate and Senior classes are eligible to attend this camp.
  • Those who are interested to host 'Area Prayer Meetings' at their residence are requested to contact Rev. Shabu Thomas at the earliest. Area wise prayers are very important for the spiritual growth of our congregation. Kindly take initiative to host a prayer at your residence.
  • The 'site' for the proposed Jubilee Hall needs to be cleared before the 'foundation stone laying' ceremony scheduled on November 13. Permission has been obtained from the diocesan authorities to cut down the following number of trees. Coconut Trees – 35 Nos, Mango Trees – 4 Nos, Jack Fruit Tree – 1 No, Small teak wood – 1No, Tamarind Tree – 1 No and Other Small trees – 3 Nos. Quotations are invited from interested parties to cut these trees and clear the site. Last date for receiving sealed quotations is October 23rd.
  • A Bible Study class has been organized by the Womens' Fellowship on every fourth sunday after the Divine Malayalam Service. This is specially arranged considering the convenience of all working women who cannot take part in the activities conducted during week days. All members, especially the working women in the congregation are requested to use this opportunity to study the 'Word of God'.
  • The Pastorate committee which met on September 30th has resolved to purchase Aluminium vessels for use in the Cathedral Hall and to sell the existing copper vessels as they require high maintenance costs and are used seldom by parties. Those who are interested to buy these copper vessels are requested to give their quotations on or before 9th October 2016.
  • Quotations are invited for painting the Cathedral (except the tower), parsonage of Asst. Vicar and the front side of Cathedral Youth Hall. Last date for receiving quotations is October 9th 2016. Kindly contact Cathedral Office for more details.
