The foundation stone of the Cathedral Jubilee Hall; another project in connection with the 175th Anniversary of the CSI Cathedral, was laid by our beloved Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Royce Manoj Thirumeni on the 13th of November 2016, in a small function organized after the Divine Malayalam Service.
The Bishop and the congregation proceeded towards the Jubilee Hall site behind the existing hall, following the lead of the BEMGHSS Band. Around 200 people had gathered to witness this function.

Mr. Denzil John, the pastorate Committee secretary, read from the scriptures. Thirumeni blessed the 'Foundation Stone' and this was carried to the spot by Mr. Denzil John (PC Secretary), Mr. David Vincent Thomas (PC Treasurer) and by Dr. Carl Vijayan who is the secretary of the Building Committee. Thirumeni laid the stone and offered prayers, blessing this stone and the ensuing work.
The 'Tablet' commemorating the laying of this foundation stone was unveiled by Thirumeni. A software rendered elevation of the Hall was also unveiled by Thirumeni.
Tea and Snacks were arranged for all those who witnessed this function which concluded around 11:30 am.
