Update: Diocesan Women's Sunday and Area One-Day Retreat

                Diocesan Women’s Sunday was observed in our church today. The members of the Women’s Fellowship led the divine Malayalam service at 9:00 am. The Service began with a procession. A special ‘Order of Service’ received from the Diocesan office was followed and the members took turns leading the various portions. 

                 The message was delivered by Mrs. Saji Vinod; President of the fellowship.

A beautiful song (Malayalam version of the popular hymn “Because He lives”) was presented by the members of the Women’s Fellowship. 

                       

            Five new members were inducted into the fellowship after a special prayer.

              The service came to a close with recession around 10:45 am.

                     The Area One Day retreat of the Women’s fellowship was held on the 13^th of September. Around 30 members participated from the Cathedral.

         Our members bagged the 2^nd place in the Quiz Competition Conducted in the retreat. The ‘Shield’ received, was handed over to Mrs. Bindu Sydney; the secretary of Women’s Fellowship amidst the Diocesan Women’s Sunday Malayalam Service by Rev. Dr. Vincent Moses.

Diocesan Women's Sunday

           The coming Sunday (14^th of September) is being observed as Women's Sunday in our Diocese. The Cathedral Women's Fellowship members will be leading the Divine Service at 9 am that day. All are cordially welcome. Please uphold all Women members in your prayers.

Women's One Day Retreat

The Calicut Area One-Day Retreat of the Women's Fellowship is organized at the Hermon Gundert Memorial Church on 13^th September, Friday. The Retreat will begin at 9:30 am. Women's Fellowship members from all churches in Calicut will gather and various classes, discussions, quiz programme etc will be conducted. The Quiz will be based on the 2^nd and 3^rd Books of St. John and the Book of Jude. Please uphold this programme in your prayers.
