Divine Service at Bilathikulam on 28.9.2014 - Update!


             The members of Mens Fellowship, lead the Divine Service at Bilathikulam today (28.9.2014).

Felicitation to Rev. Dr. Royce Manoj Victor

              Rev. Dr. Royce Manoj who was serving as a Professor in the Kannanmoola United Theological Seminary, Trivandrum has now been appointed as the Liaison officer with the Evangelical Mission in Solidarity (EMS) based in Germany. It is the first time that a person from our Diocese is nominated to such a post. Hearty Congrats to achan from the Cathedral congregation!

           Rev. Dr. Royce Manoj was invited to the Cathedral this Sunday (21.9.2014) and was felicitated in the Divine Malayalam Service.

           Mr. Denzil John, the Pastorate Committee secretary spoke a few words about Manoj Achan and his contribution to our Diocese and about his new task and responsibilities.

             The Pastorate Committee presented a portrait of the ‘Last Supper’ as a token of our love and appreciation. This was presented by Mr. David Vincent Thomas, the Pastorate Committee Treasurer. 


               Rev. Royce Manoj thanked the Cathedral Members for this reception and solicited our support and prayers. He also spoke about the 200th anniversary of the Basel Evangelical Mission and that the closing ceremony of the Year long celebrations being arranged in 2015 will be at our Cathedral in the month of October (2015).

Wedding Ceremony – Rev. Dn. Sam Prakash and Lydia Sherin

           Rev. Dn. Sam Prakash who is serving as our Assistant Vicar married Ms. Lydia Sherin who is also our member in the Holy Matrimony Service held at 11:00 am today; the 12th of September 2014. The Marriage was solemnized by Rt. Rev. B.N. Fenn, the Bishop in North Kerala Diocese. Around 35 priests from our diocese attended and graced this wonderful occasion.

                  Rt. Rev. B.N. Fenn Thirumeni gave a wonderful message to the wedded couple and to the congregation as a whole! A special song “Bread of Heaven” was sung by the Cathedral Choir and the Youth Members chipped in by singing the ‘Psalm 128’.

Revival Meeting on 13th September (2nd Saturday); Update


     The Revival Meeting led by Rev. Dn. Sunil Edachery was organized today in the Cathedral. Eventhough only a few people turned up, the message was a blessing to keen ears.

Few in numbers but abundantly blessed!



           Kindly remember Achan and family in your prayers. Requesting more participation from all in the coming months.
