Teachers Sunday 2016 - September 4th

       The 4th of September was observed as Teachers Sunday in the Diocese. The English as well as Malayalam Divine services were led by the members who are serving as 'teachers' in the various schools and colleges.
     The messages in the English and Malayalam services were delivered by Mrs. Gladys Isaac and by Mr. Murali Dennis respectively. Special Songs were also performed in both services.













         Stella teacher was honoured during the service and the other retired teachers attending the service, were handed out a small memento at their seats, as a token of love and respect by those who led the service.

              A Special Song composed by Shri. Ajith and set to tune by Shri. Prathiash Kumar was presented by the teachers. This was accompanied on Keyboard by Mr. Winston Revalino.





              Shri. Murali Dennis Kalarikkal, HM of MCC HSS delivered the message.


             The service concluded around 11 am with recession.

House to Daniel Joseph (Eden) - 175th Anniversary Project Completion

Beloved in Christ!
          Another project - The Daniel Joseph House Construction Project; taken up by the CSI Cathedral, as a part of our 175th Anniversary Celebrations has been completed. This house, named "EDEN" was dedicated and blessed by the Rt. Rev. Dr. Royce Manoj Victor Thirumeni on the 29th of September. The members of Pastorate Committee, well wishers and relatives of Shri. Daniel Joseph attended this function organized on 29th at 8:30 am. This house is situated atop a hill at 'bhoothathan kuzhi' near Kuttikkattoor.

              The house features two bedrooms, a hall, kitchen and work area. All the rooms were visited one-by-one by Royce Manoj Thirumeni accompanied by Rev. Dr. TI James (Cathedral Chairman) and dedication prayers made.

          The Keys to 'EDEN' were handed over to Shri. Daniel Joseph, during the Divine Malayalam service on October 2nd. Rev. Dr. T.I. James, Rev. Shabu Thomas, Rev. Dr. Vincent Moses and Rev. Paul David Thottathil were present.
            Mr. Denzil John, our secretary addressed the congregation and thanked all those who put in their sincere efforts for the timely completion of the project. Mr. David Vincent, the Cathedral Treasurer, then presented the accounts related to the construction. Rev. Dr. T.I. James, our Chairman, handed over the keys which was received by Mr. Daniel Joseph and his wife. Rev. Shabu Thomas prayed and Rev. Dr. Vincent Moses gave the benediction.
