The Harvest Festival and Annual Thanksgiving service of the Kattangal Congregation was held on the 7th of August at 2:00 PM. Rt. Rev. Dr. Royce Manoj Victor our Bishop, was the Chief Guest. The service began with the Basel Mission Hymn, "പാടുവിന് കര്ത്താവിന് കീര്ത്തി".

It was our Bishop's first visit to Kattangal and a warm welcome was given to Thirumeni by Evangelist Sarin Lawrance who is serving at Kattangal.

Thomas, Evg. P.A. Thomas and by Mr. Stanley John from Kattangal
Congregation.

Beautiful songs were presented by the Sunday Class Children of Kattangal, Cathedral Sunday School children, Children from our congregation at Kuttikkattoor, the Cathedral Youth Fellowship, the Cathedral Men's fellowship, CSI Puthiyara Church, CSI Chalappuram Church, the Cathedral Women's fellowship, the Cathedral Choir and the congregation at Kattangal.

Royce Manoj Thirumeni delivered the festival message and Mr. Binal Sathyadasan, the Kattangal Committee secretary extended the vote of thanks. The service concluded around 5 PM.

Tea and Snacks were served to all. The auction of the first fruits was inaugurated by Bishop Royce Manoj. The congregation who attended participated actively in the auction and the day's programme came to a close with prayer and benediction by Rev. Dr. T.I. James at 6:30 PM.
