Widow Lane reopening on 15.March.2015

         The renovated Widow Lane was reopened for use on March 15th after the Divine Malayalam Service. Mr. George Thomas, Lay secretary, NKD, was the Chief guest on the occassion. Rev. PS Ebebezer, Rev. Vinod Allen, Rev. Dr. Vincent Moses, Rev. Paul David Thottathil and Rev. Mahesh Joshua led the prayer. Each room of the lane was visited and prayers made. Members of the Pastorate committee were present. A large number of church members also gathered to witness this function. Tea and snacks were distributed after the function.

Reception to Shri. George Thomas, Lay Secretary, NKD

               A Reception was given to the newly elected Lay Secretary of the North Kerala Diocese, Mr. George Thomas on the 15th of March during the Malayalam Divine Service.

Bilathikulam BEM UP School - Prayer Hall - Renovation

             The Class Rooms in the BEM UP School at Bilathikulam, where regular Sunday Divine service is being conducted, have been renovated with the combined effort of the Cathedral Pastorate Committee, the School Officials and the residents in the area. An elevated platform is built to facilitate the Altar. The whole section which houses three classes has been laid with tiles. The exterior has also been beautified with interlocking tiles. The fund raised by the residents over a long period of time under the name 'Bilathikulam Church Building Fund' was utilized for this purpose with their consent.

   A prayer was arranged at 3:00 pm on March 13th Friday, at the renovated hall in which Cathedral Chairman Rev. P.S. Ebenezer, School Headmaster Shri. Alex P. Jacob, members of the Cathedral pastorate committee, the School staff members and the residents in the Bilathikulam area attended.

Widow lane renovation - Update

The renovation work of the Widow Lane adjacent to the new parsonage has been completed. This will be reopened on the 15th of March after the Malayalam Divine Service. Mr. George Thomas, the newly elected Lay Secretary of the Diocese will preside over the function.

Two taps have been provided in the back side for easy access to water.
